District Tea: Reviews & Ratings

Got the assam float which is black tea base and vanilla ice cream (one of their more popular drinks) and added tapioca boba. The subtle bitterness of the black tea went very well with the sweet ice cream and Boba. $8.25 for a large and add-ons were very reasonably priced. Service was fast and very nice asking questions. The store itself is located in a slightly awkward location and there is only standing room to order. It is a place to grab a drink but not necessarily to stay at.

Tiny but mighty boba store ⭐! I got the mung bean latte with agar boba and grass jelly on a hot day and enjoyed it! I came in around 6:40pm and they had run out of regular boba by then so I got the agar boba, which are the translucent balls that are a bit smaller and harder. I believe if you come on a Thursday, you can size up for free. Service was friendly! Many interesting drink options, food options, and even cool blankets/merch. I would definitely come back and recommend to friends!

District Tea in SF's Mission District is a hidden gem. Stumbling upon this quaint spot, I was pleasantly surprised by the plethora of drink options it offered. The Mangochada was a tropical dream, beautifully balanced and incredibly refreshing, while the Spam Masubi was a savory delight that left me craving more. District Tea boasts an impressive array of innovative tea blends, catering to diverse preferences. The creative flair extends beyond the drinks to the charming ambiance, providing a cozy retreat in the midst of the bustling Mission District. However, it's important to note that District Tea primarily operates as a takeout spot, lacking seating for dine-in. Nevertheless, for a unique tea adventure in the heart of SF, District Tea is a must-visit.

District Tea is a hidden gem nestled in the hustle and bustle of the Mission District in San Francisco. My husband and I ordered the chicken katsu sandwich, katsu sando, spam musubi, tonkatsu musubi, and a Taro Latte with oat milk topped with crema. Everything was incredibly delicious, and I especially loved the Taro Latte. It was made with real taro chunks and was the first Taro Latte I've had that didn't taste like it was loaded with tons of sugar. One thing that's really great about District Tea is that they use real ingredients and no artificial flavorings or sweeteners. The prices are also very reasonable. Overall, we'd love to visit District Tea again for the delicious food and drinks and friendly service. The only caveat is that I wish parking were easier in the area.

This was my first time visiting and I got the golden gate tea with agar boba and spicy popcorn chicken. The prices are to be expected but the portions were way more generous than I was anticipating! Plus they had a free drink size upgrade today for whatever reason so I hit the jackpot hahaha! I've been to a few boba places close by but I'm definitely coming back to District Tea.

District Tea is in Mission - in between 17th and 18th street. Easy to get to using Bart by getting off 16th street. It’s not the safest neighborhood, but it is home to so many amazing food places. District Tea’s a bit small, but the minimalist style & high ceiling kind of makes the place big. You can order in person or via the self-ordering machine. I think they prefer self ordering since they get so busy like today. Anyway, it took a while for me to order because no one’s really in FOH, most of them are in the back prepping food and drinks. They have a diverse menu from drinks to snacks. I got matcha latte and corn dogs (2 pcs, half cheese & half sausage). The matcha latte is good but not how I preferred it. It’s more on the bitter side which is what some people prefer. I like mine to be sweeter, aha. The corn dogs are great - very delicious. I think they use the Berkshire sausage. If not, it tastes similar to it. Service is fast. The lady packing the order is very courteous and accommodating. Will definitely come back to try other drinks when we’re in the area.

I ordered a big pickup order and they didn't put ice in my drinks until arrived! I thought it was such a nice touch that I've never experienced with any other boba shop before! The food is always really good as well
